* go to your target flight log site.(your local leonardo for example) & upload your igc formatted file. GPSBabel converts waypoints, tracks, and routes from one format to another, whether that format is a common mapping format like Delorme, Streets and Trips, or even a serial or USB upload or download to a GPS receiver such as those from Garmin and Magellan. * download converted igc file to your phone. * select input and format, upload your file from sd card. * take your sdcard and mount to android device. Apple osmand or mapout will NOT see it or open it. gpx.however file info says it is a.xml file. Osmand in android says.unsupported file Download on my apple ipad and file n,ae says. im already slowly converting my power needs to solar. Yeah i already have it, however the places that ill be travelling to in Africa have sketchy power supply and would rather save my phones battery for any calls that i need to make. It logs files as IGC and can submit directly to Leonardo. (My GPS file converter can also read human-created plain-text input files more easily. Will be travelling with limited access to laptops etc and was wondering if anyone has any ideas? gps60 saves the flights to micro sd, so there is a chance to switch sd card to phone to be able to upload to OLC. GPS Visualizer's utility has these advantages: a simpler interface the ability to add estimated elevation (via SRTM and USGS data), speed, course, slope, and/or distance fields and CSV or tab-delimited text output which is more user-friendly than GPSBabel's. Just wondering if there is any way to convert a gpx file to igc via an android phone/tab? Posted: Tue 2:56 UTC Post subject: GPX conversion to IGC via Android?
